"The most fun job ever!" that's how employees describe being a FASHION BUYER! Uptown Cheapskate is a buy, sell, trade fashion store for young adults. We carry everything from mall to luxury brands at up to 70% off regular retail/resale prices. Get first looks at new and Pre-loved Fashion and Designer items and appraise them using our software system (we'll train). We aim to make fashion more sustainable and that's where you come in. We're looking for part-time Buyers and can train the right candidate on everything you need to know. Part-time Buyers typically work 15-28 hours per week. Interested?? here's more info:
Responsibilities:
- Responsibilities:
- Select & price gently-used and new clothing, shoes, bags & jewelry styles for our customers with expertise
- Must have an eye for fashion
- Able to assist with merchandising clothing throughout the store
- Assist with Luxury Authentications using our third party vendor
- Designer Authentications (will train)
- Provide excellent customer service to sellers and buyers
- Work with the store staff to keep the buys organized
- Assist with cashiering of customer transactions
- Open availability preferred! Must work WEEKENDS
- Must be a fast learner, responsible, & have excellent communication skills
